My mate wears a HT which he found in a vintage store, and it looks a lot like that one. He loves it. One word of advise from him, don't wash it. They do shrink a lot.

What make is that flat cap?

I have had several over the last 40 years as my hair started blocking the plughole in my early twenties! Currently have around four or five of the tweed caps, by Christy, Dunn's, Hanna and an unknown one.

They can't be beaten for sheer utility. They roll up into your jacket pocket easily.

They are as common as muck over here in the UK of course, worn by anyone.

I love Ivy/Flat caps. The doc said that I needed to start wearing something to keep the Florida sun off my head or I would end up like dad with skin cancer. My favorites are Mucros Weavers from Ireland. I own four of them and want to get a patchwork cap next year. I also buy from hats.com and really like their Bradbury in tan and blue. I also own the Baxter in navy and black and, for the Florida drizzle, the Country Gentleman Drizzler in black.
