I thought it would at best be so so, it was only $19 bucks. But wow I'm blown away, even if the shave is not great the handle alone is worth $40 bucks. It's just a stunning handle. Joe was kind enough to include a sampler of the Rapira line, which also included a couple of Voskhod blades (not in the photo's). Thank you Joe. The Cadet handles are very heavy. They are solid brass, or at least that's what they are supposed to be. It's every bit as heavy as the SS Weber Classic handle I have...maybe more. I don't have a digital scale. I bought a different handle design and really bought the razor just for the handle. I used the handle exclusively for a while, until I got my Weber handle.

The shave of the razor is a bit aggressive, but not overly so. They are really a good value.

I just noticed that the base plate is upside down in the photo. Not that it matters the handle is being put to work on my Tech first.....
HHHmmmm I posted that picture by accident, maybe I should do things like that on purpose in the future and see if anyone else notices....
