My Mergress (thanks to Mer and Stubblefield!)

I purchased a Progress from Stubblefield and, with some arrangements, had it sent off to Eric (Mer) to be upgraded to a Mergress. Eric did an excellent job of taking an idea I had in mind and bringing it to life. These are his pictures, as I just suck at taking a good picture of any of my razors.

This was a fun one to make. The die is 3/4" square solid brass. It definitely has some weight to it.

It's beautifully weighted and mows through hairs. It's a great shaver and that weight definitely adds to the smoothness. Excellent work Eric. I look forward to sending another one your way in the not too distant future. Got another idea brewing in my head.
