Bought a WCS Toothsome Safety Razor Base Plate and paired it with a Chinese Darwin looking handle purchased on "that" web site and came up with a Darwin-ish razor that surprisingly, has some heft to it and is a great shave ! The handle is chrome plated brass, so it has weight . The new design open comb from WCS was surprisingly good , shaved on a 2-1/2 day stubble and got a BBS shave with little effort and did it fast , which I normally don't. I found this head to be surprisingly forgiving, more so than my Darwin. So the Darwin will come out once in a while, but I really like this new Frankenstein "Irwin" razor I put together.
