I basically talked Walker into getting this razor for selfish reasons
Number one: I was completely loving the looks of this razor, and came *this* close to buying it myself. So, having someone else buy it was saving me from myself.
Number two: He had been contemplating buying a new Dovo for good money. Nothing particularly wrong with that, but this is a much cooler razor at a much better price.
Number three: It was NOS, unhoned. So he needed someone to hone it for him....I offered to do so (I don't usually offer honing), so that I could get my paws on the razor myself, if only for a single test shave......
So, I can answer the "how was the shave question:
Very nice!
In my opinion it is one of those razors that has *it*, a keen edge, but feels smooth and easy on your face. I got a nice, long-lasting BBS with it. It's also unique, and a beauty.- Thread starter

It was a deal too good to pass up. I just my first shave with her and it was a great one. 
I still have a long way to go with my technique but it was still agreat shave. Thanks again for the honing!!!

"It's mine!! All mine!!!" is exactly what I said upon opening the box containing the razor when I first got it......I was rubbing my hands together, amazed that my diabolical scheme had worked out so well.......
Luckily for you, SWMBO slapped some sense into me and made me send it along to its' rigfhtful owner....
And then she made me do the dishes!
good to know, I can get this same one NOS from a place, although I bet more expensive
