That long handle is very nice.
How you getting on with the synth? I have last years gen of synth from FS. Its the horn tubby 26/55 and it's a great brush. Eats Arko and creams. Dries in a few mins and is my travel buddy.

First lather with the Purtech.
Very soft = comparable to the Muhle Silver tip (M89)
Not a lot of backbone.
Using Jack Black Shaving cream.
Eats up the cream. Consistency and water content is going to be trial/error = experiment.

Not a lot of backbone. W well last year's has loads.I reckon you could balance my dodge on it when dry. I love it
