Well shaved using the Kent. Must say a very fine brush indeed. As it soaked I thought, hmmm a little floppy. On application of soap it burst into life. Unbelievably soft on the face, this aint no regular 'pure' badger. It's way too soft. Any one know how Kent grade their badger hair? The lather was brilliant and after a nearly two months with the FS 26mm finest faux horn chubby this ones now in the beam for the next month at least. It did shed a few hairs yesterday something the FS didnt do at all, and it smells well funky again the FS didnt have the funk. A fine brush and it may have pushed me into having some bigger lofts on my brushes. It still love the Duke 1 and Case size handle though.
After sending an E-mail to Kent, I received a reply stating my NOS V23 was last made in 1994 retailed at £24 and is made from 'finest' grey pure badger.
