The BSSW arrived wrapped in paper and packaged inside a plastic tube. The knot itself was fitted with a hair net to keep it tight. Even whilst dry, the bristles feel incredibly soft, very unlike any of my other badgers. A quick rinse and hand lather let loose four errant hairs. The knot bloomed just a little, and dried shockingly fast. So far, my initial impression is that it looks and smells like a badger, but it feels and behaves like a synthetic.
