What's new

My intro to The Café

My name is Rob. I'm pretty new to B&B. I've been trying to stop in and introduce myself in each of the "Everything Else" subforums.

I am a daily morning coffee drinker. I will admit that I use a Keurig for ease of use. I make my coffee at 5:15am and my wife at 7:30am so making one pot wasn't working well for us.

I don't love the Keurig, but it does the job.

In the evening, just after my nightly shower & head shave, I like to have a cup of tea. For years I've had Bigelow Sleepy Time.

Here's what I would like to do:
I'm considering switching to tea exclusively. I want a strong, caffeinated tea for the morning and a relaxing tea for the evening. I'd also like something that I can bring with me to make during the day.

I usually drink my tea plain. I recently cut milk out of my diet.

So here I am. I'll be lurking around and picking up tips.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Happy Holidays.

Rob

you wont get the same caffine amount from tea but i can try and recomend some. for morning tea's if you like smokey flavors lapsang souchong is nice. or perhaps a high roasted oolong. relaxing tea maybe a green/white or a light oolong?

I recall years ago I used to drink some tea that had added caffeine in it. Tasted terrible, but it kept my eyes open.
