My Guess... 3017

I must be the only guy in here that doesn't like the Wilkinson stick. I've tried it a few times and every time I used it I got redness and irritation.

I decided to go with RazoRock Napoleon's Violet.

I got moves like Jagger
My P.160 stick (that last of it!) is now noticeably top-heavy. It will make it through March, but I'm not so sure about April.

Had another Wilkie shave while out of town this evening. Very good lather!
And it goes great with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I'm down to one stick left in the den, time to do another order with Connaught Shaving Supply.

ABC is fully dialed in. Performance wise this is a very good soap. Very slick, close shaves. There is not much scent left.

Now half as wise
Bob, the scent is faint, but I like it. I'm not good at describing scents, so let's just call it light and modern.

New month, so started back on Tabac. This is the remains of a grated stick. Doubt it will last the month, and not sure what I will replace it with in my small rotation.

Took a short trip to see the grandkids this last weekend. Finished a tube of Palmolive that I've been using for travel for a long, long time! Already have a tube of Tabac cream to replace it!

Finished off the MW green fairy last night which I started 2/28. Good soap but a tad fussy, seems that if you put one drop too much water in the lather falls apart. Load heavy and be careful with the water and it is a solid choice, especially since I picked it up on sale as they were blowing out the old formula.

Don't think I will replace it as it didn't make it into my top 5, some day I hope to be down to just 5 or so of my favorites. Nice anise scent though, I really enjoyed that.

Got 16 shaves from a sample of Soap Commander Endurance. I also did 3 or 4 test shaves with boar and badger brushes. I'm pretty much a synthetic brush guy now, but was feeling nostalgic and wanted to see how some of my older brushes performed. Not as good as my synths. The scent was just about gone from the sample, I could have gotten up to another week from it, but I bought it to try the scent. I don't know if she scent was mostly gone when I got it though, samples from Soap Commander come in paper envelopes.

This is my experience, too.

Moved on to CRSW citrus, its the original 100% Vegtal (that a word?) which seems not to be made anymore. Just a few shaves in and I see why there are a lot of fans of this brand of soap. Easy to lather, slick and protective. Scent, decent. I am getting more grapefruit the more I use it but we'll see how it wears on me over the next month.

Have been away from reading these forums lately but have used soap with the 3017 mentality. Started a puck of Cade today. Do I remember or guess correctly if I say this is a 6 month puck? (If I shave everyday.)

Depends on how you load, I load quite heavy and got 3 months. It is a long lasting soap with a great scent

Thanks for answering. Will see how it goes I am normally at 3 months too at 100 grams of grated soap but this seems very hard.
