My Guess... 3017

Bob's cheating!:letterk1:

But seriously, I think that us old farts have more kills simply because we've been posting in the thread longer. When all of you CH3 and Paladin users have a few more years under your belts, you'll be chewing up soaps faster than we ever could. As for synth users, you guys will get great shaves but will not be close to getting into the 3017 HOF. :tongue_sm

If you download the spreadsheet, click on the column top. Example - click on "D", and you should be able to sort the column alphabetically. That way all the 3017ers will be listed in alphabetical order. Hopefully that will be easier to tally users. Same goes for "C", to sort soaps.

Let's try this again. I converted all members' names to lower case and trimmed all leading and trailing white space.

There are 1880 rows in the spreadsheet. There were 280 unique member names, for an average of about 6.7 kills per member who posted kills. Here are the names sorted by number of kills for those members posting a total of 10 or more kills:

Looking at the spreadsheet it seems a couple of my kills were duplicates due to the use of different names of the same soap, possibly a couple of days apart. My avg kill time is going up due to the latest soap - MWF. I find I need about 5 swirls to get enough soap for a fine 2+ pass lather. MWF is outlasting the jar of MdC by over a month.

Mystic Water Lemongrass and Blue Gum was polished off yesterday. What a delight! This was my first full size MW puck I’ve worked through even though I’ve done dozens of samples. It won’t be my last. Just a hint of cooling from the blue gum. MW may not be the absolute easiest soap to work with, but it’s far from difficult. You’re rewarded with luxurious, unctuous lather that shaves great and has great feel.

Up next I’m going to polish off a lightly used full sized tube of Proraso green I inherited from my son. Perfect for the dog days of summer.

I've acquired a few new soaps since then, will post a photo later.
Here we go:

I’m very happy to be a member of this club

Paging through my kills I can see a definite change in tempo from the early days when I had a stash of average product and fully embraced the “load it like you hate it” mantra to more recent times where my stash consists of all products I truly enjoy and almost all of them are now unobtainium. I no longer have a destination, now it’s all about the journey.
