Respect.
I was gonna ask "So, what will you use starting next Friday?"... and no, I am not half way through that Arlington.
Yes, I did. Started on Aug 28.
I can understand why some don't get proper lather out of MWF. They don't know how to load the brush.
Fantastic soap.
Continuing now with the DR Harris Arlington that I started some time ago. Four shaves on this soap, so far.
Shaving soap never tastes as good as it smells! He was hungry.
Did you use a wire brush instead of a shaving brush?End of another Kent (MWF) puck. Excellent soap. All 43 shaves were outstanding.

Be honest. That was not the first time you did that. Confess.
That was my only bite of shave soap ever, but I will confess to giving some pucks a lick or tasting lather in the past.Be honest. That was not the first time you did that. Confess.
@VerbaVolant, how do you build your lather? Is it one of the options shown in the Wiki? Or some other method? What kind of brush? How do you prepare your brush? Soak, shake, squeeze? How much time do you spend loading the brush? Inquiring minds would like to know.Yes, I did. Started on Aug 28.

Hello Saltchuck. I build proto lather in a stainless bowl then finish it on face. About 15-30sec in the bowl and 1min on face. Start with a circular movement and finish with painting on face...how do you build your lather?
Not familiar with the Wiki options, but promise to read about it....Is it one of the options shown in the Wiki?...
It is my own method, not patented, unnamed and proven only on my skin. Quite obscure, if you ask me....Or some other method?...
I believe in badger hair and swear by it. In my opinion, and I stress it is only an opinion, there is nothing better than a badger brush in one of the higher grades (I am not talking Pure or anything lower than Finest). Thus, currently I use almost exclusively three brushes:...What kind of brush?...
Soak in warm water while shower, 5-10min. Gently squeeze....How do you prepare your brush?...
20-30sec at aprox. 2 rotations/sec, 50% knot splay, always gentle....How much time do you spend loading the brush?...
