A good friend of mine is an aspiring potter. He has a nice little studio set up at his house, and has had some success around town selling his wares at flea markets and farmers markets.
I ran into him one day and we ended up talking about wetshaving and B&B. I told him I had seen a thread about someone's neighbor making a scuttle, and asked him if he thought he could do it. It took him several months and quite a few throw outs, but here's the finished product!
I can't believe how great they turned out! I have a Dirty Bird scuttle and these seem to be pretty similar, though the DB looks more solid and professional. He also decided to leave the top bowl removable.
What do you guys think? I told him he should definitely offer these at the farmer's market this summer.
