My first shave mug

Hi all,
This is my first shave mug.Usually I used a ceramic bowl borrowed from the kitchen. Now I have this mug.Hand made in Poland on the potter's wheel and decorated with enamel and hand-painted.I think its a small price 18 PLN about 6 USD.
Dimension:height of about 2,36 inches and diameter of about 3,54 inches.

$009 (2).jpg$008.jpg

That is very nice! my first shaving mug was a 1940's old spice mug and it was knocked over one less spice mug in the world :\

That's a nice looking mug. How much difference will the interior ridges have on the lather? My mug has smooth walls. The art department at my university does a lot of pottery work, I'm thinking about commissioning a student to make me a mug, maybe a scuttle. :sneaky2:

Witeq, sorry that I answer in your thread .

In addition to the mugs, they are making also shaving soaps. I'm not a big fan but among my colleagues there are many enthusiasts.

Below you can see the ingredient list of the tea-lavender version:
Aqua, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Ricinus Communis Oil, Glycerin, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Kaolin
