I just glued this Every Ready 150 up with Whipped Dog silver tip set it about 48 mm for a good back bone I face lather and bowl lather I have a feeling this knot is going to excel with either method. Thanks Larry for your help in this first restore great guy. $restoreder150.jpg

Excellent work.

Is the Whipped Dog a 22 mm?

I have done a couple of those myself, one at 23 mm (which I had to sand the opening to accept the larger knot) and the other at a 20 mm that allowed for the black retainer to be spared.

thank you I used his 22mm it really worked out well. I cant wait to try a few more restores.

Thank you. very nice work I will get there. I filled my brush with nickels and cork first a layer of cork then nickels int he middle then another cork for shelf to give some weight in the middle.

Great first restore! Looks like you already have the hang of things! Like GDCarrington said, this is a pretty addictive hobby, with tons of support.

Great job. It's always a pleasure to see an old handle get a new knot. It's good to go for another 10+ years. :thumbup1:
