My first restoration

A Rubberset 400-4 that I picked up at an antique shop.
A bit of sanding on a few rough spots and finished with a slow speed buffer and polishing compounds. I set the knot, a 24 x 67 pure badger, with silicone for ease of removal if need be.
Thanks to the folks at the Rubberset 400 Brotherhood for solid restoration advice!

The silicone is good. Totally good route to take.

Thanks. If the knot falls out on down the road, I’ve enough of the silicone to seal it in a dozen or more times
