My First Rapira

Today was my first shave with a Rapira Super Stainless.
I used my iKon OC, my new Simpsons Case, my favorite Becker scuttle, and opened my last tube of Sir Irisch Moos.
The Rapira was very smooth, so smooth there was very little audible feedback.
Three passes left me with as close to BBS as I ever get.
With my tremors, I always have at least a little sting from the alum block, but today's was virtually nil.
Likewise, a splash of Layrite No. 9 Bay Rum was refreshing, period.
I think I'm going to like this blade, and I've decided to toss in a 10 blade tuck of them in my Continents Collide PIF.

I like Rapiras. They're dirt cheap ($6.50 per 100 from Turkey), and I think they do a pretty darn good job. I think they are on par iwth Astra blades. I prefer Personna Labs because the Rapiras feel more rough, but the end result isn't bad at all!

The Rapiras in the pink/black/blue box are, by far, my favorite blade. One lasted me a week in a shavette and I could have kept going.

those rapiras work well for me on the first shave but not much after that. they are a bit sharper to me than the voskhods but the vos's last me a lot longer

i only found them direct from russia. they were okay very sharp but a bit rough i prefer the swede supersteel to the lux myself.

Shaved with the Rapiras a few times. They are really good. You cannot go wrong with them. Especially from bestshave.

Rapiras are decent solid blades. I find them to be not the sharpest out there, but very smooth and forgiving. Loaded into a more aggressive razor, I have found them to be quite stellar..... I recommend them to anybody!!

I also have my first Rapira blade in my razor now. I had my day-3 shave with it yesterday. Felt like it was starting to lose its sharp edge. Guess I'll find out in my morning day-4 shave tomorrow. Very smooth and forgiving blade.

That's all I need. I never use a blade more than three shaves.
