My first failure with a DE

After reading some of the posts on here about people shaving their heads with a DE and getting great results I thought I would give it a shot. As the title suggests it don't go well at all. The shave wasn't even a little close, I'm sure it was mostly my technique but either way I ended up switching to a five bladed monster about halfway through.

I was a little disapointed, i was hoping to be rid of those horrible contraptions finally but I guess I'll keep it around.

I have also observed that many head shavers use carts on their heads but are diehard DE and straight razor shavers on their face. I say whatever works.

Maybe some of our head shaving members could point you to some videos or give better advice. Did you cut yourself while doing it? If not maybe you just needed to lean the razor a bit and get a better angle. The only thing I can think of is if you're gonna try it next time, do it completely quiet and slowly test the angle until you hear the hair being cut, while not scraping your scalp lol.
