What's new

My first DE

I have been looking for a week now. And low and behold, I found a SS at a local antique shop. On my 4th shave and love it. Thanks to all of you that has given me good solid advice. I was worried about it at first because it looked really bad, but it cleaned up pretty good. It still needs a polish. I will try and post before and after pics. I looked up the date code, and it was made on my wifes birth month and year. She was happy about that. I guess I'll have to name her now. :w00t:

That cleaned up very nicely, nice score.

They're great razors, you'll love it.

I'm probably gonna hit up some local places over the weekend over sometime next week. Hopefully I'll find a catch

I shaved with this razor this morning, as it's the one in my dopp. It fabulous. Very nice. You'll be very happy. This is a great razor to learn with. You'll mark others in comparison to it, for sure.

Z1 . The photo quality is not very good.
Only Paid 5.00 for it, so I thought I did alright.

5 bucks? For a Superspeed in great condition, in a case with a blade pack?!?!

You did fantastic.

It's a great razor to start with, and I'm sure you will be going back to it for years to come.

Welcome to B&B, keep us posted on how things progress.

I found it in a consignment shop. They drop the price according on how long it stays on the shelf. It started off at $25.00, then dropped to $15.00, then to $5.00. I guess I was in the right place at the right time.
Now I'm plotting my next buy. You guys have got me hooked on DE's.:001_rolle
