My First Brush Restore

Came across this brush on eBay and decided I would try my hand at a brush restore. I drilled out the knot pretty easily though it was very time consuming. I have learned the hard way to take my time. I have ordered a Ace 24mm silver tip. I hope to set the knot a little lower to give it a little backbone. I will post more pictures when I set the knot.

Neato! Yes, a little time consuming but I know you'll dig the result. I just finished an Ever Ready handle, will have a TGN Finest. I've done a new handle with TGN knot, woof-talk about easy! Enjoy! :badger:

Hey guys, I received my aceshaving silver tip brush on Friday and spent the weekend setting it into the brush handle. I started by filling the handle with hot glue per the suggestion of someone on this wonderful forum. I added a few weights to give it some heft and then put a thin layer of epoxy on top to seal it in. I let it dry over night then I set the brush at around 56mm loft with some 5 minute epoxy. Overall I feel as though it turned out pretty well. I can't wait for the next restore. Thanks everyone on here this board has been such a great help!!!

P.S I will post pictures of the bloom soon.
