Just a few days ago I received a cased Fat Boy from another B&B member, and it was a beauty to behold; even the case was in great shape. Earlier tonight, I went to open the case...and the combination of decades-old plastic and my large, oafish hands were too much. Two small sections of the black plastic that locked the lid into place broke off. Where those pieces went to, only the inhabitants of Atlantis know.
Now the lid of the case doesn't snap closed. A minor issue to some, but for me...well, I could kick myself in the face repeatedly for making the mistake of using too much pressure. Guess I'm out of luck now...Fat Boy cases themselves are probably worth more than I can spend.
Just needed to vent. At least the razor itself is a glistening machine of facial hair destruction, and that's what matters the most.
