My Elite 8

My shaving collection has evolved so much over time, especially with my brushes. I have had 42 brushes come through my den. One of those brushes now belongs to Mrs. Texan. Of the 41 other brushes, I've narrowed it down to these 8 permanent brushes. As you can tell, I favor the Rooneys and I enjoy 2-bands. My Shavemac D01 3-band in the vintage Plisson horn handle is the only 3-band in the stable. Although similar in nature all brushes give me some unique feeling. Weight and shape of handles also help give them different feels. Clearly, I'm a fan guy. I think I'm set for life. I don't think I need to try anything, especially with the arrival of my Finest 1/2 that I considered my holy grail brush. Thanks B&B for helping me figure out what I like. I proudly present my elite 8.

The Rooney Finest is an amazing brush.

It is thanks to you sirs that I've completed my collection. I was really after the 1/2 as I'd tried it before and fell in love with it. The opportunity to score the 2/1 was too good to pass up. Honestly, if I had to pick one brush it'd be the 1/2, but there's no way I could ever let go of the others. Thank you both for letting yours go and making me a very happy man. Great birthday presents indeed.
