Two years ago i made a thread asking for help in choosing a razor for my cousin who was graduating HS.
Now, he just graduated college and is going to a university and he recently told me that he was taking a pottery class. I mentioned to him that it would be cool if he could make me a scuttle, so i showed him some pictures and he got the basic idea. I forgot about it and didn't think he was actually going to try and make me one.
Two weeks ago he calls me up and says the scuttle is ready, i was busy with work and i couldn't make it. But i picked it up today and took it for a test lather.
It's not the most aesthetic scuttle out there, and he could have made the opening a bit better. So i have to angle it while i lather (so the water doesn't spill out), BUT i tell you that it worked great!! i had very nice hot lather, and now i know what i've been missing.
I thought it was an incredibly nice gesture on his part for making me this. And i am very grateful that he did.
