My butterscotch restore

I would have to agree, also what scuttle is that fidjit ?

Jose

That's a "prototype" scuttle made down here by a local potter :001_smile

The price of shipping scuttles from overseas to Australia put them out of consideration for me , so given that Tasmania is well known for it's arts and crafts I contacted a local potter

He and I worked on this one and hopefully soon he'll be offering them in the Asia/Pacific region ( at least ) at a reasonable cost. He's currently fine tuning it and working on what glazes he'll offer..... :001_smile

Pretty funny, I'd talked to him over the phone and via email working on it, and the first time I went down to his studio I had a razor to PIF him. Trouble is he runs a full beard ! :bored:

That being said he's really into this project. He did mention he had some of his grandfathers old straights though :w00t:

More piccies here ( though the final ones will be one piece ) :001_smile

Nice result. You won't regret using the Golden Nib knot at all. It's a steal for the price and a super performer.
PS I hope your mate sells scuttles direct - I will be down inTassie in November and I couldn't think of a better souvenir :w00t:
