What's new

My bleepin' CAT!!

Hah! As most of you know I'm a new old dude to wet shaving again. Anyhow after receiving my gear and having 5 wet shaves under my belt, my cat has taken an interest in this manly ritual. So after today's shave, I clean my gear and go into the kitchen for a cool beverage. Upon returning to finish dressing, I notice my shaving brush has vanished off its stand. My bleepin' cat has killed my shaving brush as if it were a mouse and dragged it to a remote location. What a morning!

That is hilarious (from the outside)! Find a soap that your cat dislikes - perhaps Mama Bear could create an Eau de Canine?:biggrin1:

Cats generally dislike citrus. Maybe something in lime?

I'm impressed by your cat, though. When I let mine smell each new brush (where do they all come from?), she seems to think that the rest of the badger or boar must be right around the corner. She backs off after one sniff, and my brushes remain mine. So far.

Hopefully the cat will bring it back.
in one piece.
...hopefully....
My cat is too clumsy to jump on things. yup, too clumsy.
but she's a fighter.
The neighbour's kid said to my wife "how's your cat?; they got into a fight and now ours can't walk."

we felt bad.

I used to have a cat who liked to chew on the coffee table. A few drops of
Tabasco sauce fixed that. Hmmm...... I bet that would wake you up if applied to a shaving brush!!!

Mangled shaving brush + misbehaving cat = one restored 24mm knot brush. And it's not badger :w00t:

My condolences! I imagine there is now a cat looking for a new home.
No, not yet. If I got rid of that cat, quite possible the queen kitty would quit putting out.

Wonder what kind of brush a cat's tail would make?

Oooh! Never want to find out.

Maybe it'll bring you a new brush as a "present".

Yeah, that's what cats do. They wish to prove their worthiness by bringing home their prey. Now if only my wife would acquire that habit.

For the record, I have written and deleted three variations of a joke that involves Mandom and, um, cats.

Oh, please post them. This is a man's man forum, forget about being tactful. It ain't what we do here.

What a great screen name! Falstaff. Takes me back to the Saturday Game of the Week with Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese.
