Nice finds! The few antique stores I've been in recently don't seem to carry much shaving paraphernalia.
Nice score. It's hard to find razors in the wild where I live.

dammnit dammnit!!! I live in NYc and that's one thing we lack, good ol Americana antique shops.
You should give that brush a try, as well. I've had one exactly like that sitting in a drawer for over 2 years. I got it with an Old Spice mug I bought if I remember correctly. I was straightening the drawer that has all of my vintage blades in it the other night and found the brush. I had completely forgotten I had it. Broke it out tonight to use with some TOBS Sandalwood soap, and it performed marvelously. Should have done that right after I got it!

+1 on giving the brush a try. I recently came across my old Ever-Ready 150 and some hair loss in the center of the knot along with shedding when I did a few test lathers had me convinced I'd need to re-knot it after 20 years of neglect. I decided to give it a final lather and shave before 'putting it down' and it performed so well that I granted it a reprieve. It apparently wanted to keep on rolling and I'm just rolling along with it happy as a clam (well clams don't shave but you know what I mean).You should give that brush a try, as well. DAG-NABBIT - - - I've been fighting the urge to go rooting through my area's antique stores for about 3 month now and you are making it hard for me to resist any further. Last time I did that I came home with a Gem Micromatic (just for display - see pix in my profile- too scared to try it <G>) and an old fashion scuttle. Now, after seeing your riches I've given up all hope of resistance. See what this forum does to you????
