MWF + Earwig?!

Lifted the loose lid on a puck of MWF this morning. It was used two days ago. The puck is nearing the end, BTW.

A #%&@ earwig was in the container! I had no idea they were fans of MWF.

Ugh, and yuck.

Was it . . . still alive?

Maybe the sodium tallowate is still close enough to what it thinks is edible.

Funny. The supposed method of discouraging them is to use a soap spray.

This was a puck used two days ago, and the lid was quite ajar so the soap would dry. Hence, ready access for a bug.

Maybe he was on the counter and hid in the soap container when I turned on the light.

Sent him down the drain with a lot of very hot water.

Unattractive little bugs. But I did time at Ft. Polk in Louisiana where they had roaches big enough to scare small dogs.

That sucks. I turn the soap container upside down and put it on a wash cloth on a flat surface. It’s not going to dry as well as if it were wide open, but it works well enough with no threat of foreign objects finding their way inside.

I'd be more freaked that the earwig was inside the house, he could have the dratted MWF

Last three years or so a few have visited.

As noted previously, experienced huge roaches in Army barracks in the South, so a little bitty bug does not send me screaming.
