Musk Aftershaves

I have never tried musk aftershaves. I want to know a little more about them from the pros. Which one(s) are the best and have great staying power? I have been eyeing Jeris Musk recently. I like to smell good through out the day, so I choose aftershaves with good staying power. Thanks, Men!

Jovan Musk is the first one I think of, and the other one is AquaVelva Musk. Both super cheap (AV is about $5 and Jovan is $10 or so).

My vote is Aqua Velva Musk as well--cheap, available everywhere, and it definitely punches well above it's weight.

Put some on, and get an opinion from someone you trust (but don't tell them what it is beforehand). I have said before that if you bottled AV Musk in a fancy bottle and told everyone that it was from Germany or Italy, you could charge $30.00/bottle for that stuff. Yes, it's THAT good!

AV Musk is great stuff with stay power. Another option is pinaud musk very nice clean scent that stays as well.

Hey guys, whatever you do, DO NOT mix Aqua Velva Musk with Jeris Musk. That's MY thing! Haha! Seriously, tried this combo this afternoon after reading the comments here and it's pretty darned awesome!

Denim Musk is my favorite, and the AS I use more often than all others except The Veg. It has something pine-foresty going on that's very appealing.

Not a pro here, but I have a take in that I would consider the Jeris first but obtain the AV version as well as its not so hard to locate. They are both inexpensive, but the 12 ounce Jeris is quite a bargain at around the cost of 7 ounces of the AV. The staying power for the AV seems better though it has more fragrance relative to glycerin in comparison to the Jeris. Fragrance is the third listed ingredient for AV Musk while its glycerin for the Jeris Musk. I would enjoy both products if you get the chance. I cannot see how fragrance could be healthier for the skin, therefore my nod to the Jeris.

I put the AV Musk on this morning! It's a great scent and does linger. For the investment (or lack thereof), I say give a try...

I agree, Aqua Velva Musk is excellent. It is long lasting and has a wonderful scent.

If you like Royal Lyme you should try Royal Musk. For a treat put a splash of each on. Nothing like the lime-musk combo.

For a winning combo try AV musk with 4711. I did half and half in a decant and loved the outcome.

EDIT: Too bad Barbasol Musk was discontinued. That was a great, inexpensive gateway to musk.
