Damn. No matter how hard I try, I keep missing all the dissing and incendiery comments.

Well, here's my musings. . .
I started on Merkurs, the ones that came with my Vision. I had the inevitable nicks the first few days, then as my technique improved, noticed fewer slices and dices. As I began to run low from my initial 10-pack of merkurs, I ordered 3 packs from Charles at QED, but in the meantime looked for subs.
I picked up a pack of cheapie DE knockoffs from the local CVS, and fearing the worst, had a shave. YIKES--even with my best technique and a Proraso set up, I bled like a stuck pig.
Needless to say, I dumped the knockoff and reloaded this AM with a fresh Merkur--ah, back to lessened fear in the shower stall. I swear, yesterday felt like a Psycho remake--lots of blood and screaming.
