Musgo Real scent question

This isn't technically a cream question but an aftershave, scent, and soap question, but rather than start three threads in three different forums I'll consolidate here.

Does Musgo Real have any other products that smells like their original cream? I've tried one of their shower soaps and it smelled totally different. If I knew for certain a soap or an aftershave or cologne had the same scent I'd be very interested in buying, but I can't afford to keep shooting in the dark. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd recommend Heno de Portugal ("Hay of Portugal"), good stuff and the scent is very similar to the Musgo cream.

It was also introduced in the 1920's and was a competitor to Musgo Real. Today only the bar soap remains in production.

Musgo make both a splash/lotion and a balm/balsam in the classic scent.

Interesting history! I brought the cheap bar soap home from Porto because of the MR like scent!

Years ago the Musgo bath soap smelled more similar to the shaving cream. They were not identical but very near.

Apparently today, not so much. I stopped buying the soap years ago when it was reformulated.

Can't offer an alternative.
