Musgo Real Classic aftershave

Doesn't smell like the cream at all.

Big bursts of patchouli is what I get from the AS. Like most AS it doesn't last long, more's the pity.

Excellent AS, full-on moisturising.

Musgo is one of the most unique aftershaves I've smelt to date. It was one of the first splashes I bought when I joined B&B after reading Joel's review. It is very strong and manly. Some might find the scent challenging and an acquired taste. It doesn't last all day, just an hour or two on me. As far as I'm concerned it's a wetshaving must-have if you are working on your MS in Shavegeekery.

Tried it for the first time a few days ago. It felt good on application and I like the scent, but it made my skin very, very tacky. I'm hoping the blame goes to the high humidity we've been having lately, otherwise I'd have to say Musgo leaves me feeling anything but fresh.

A little goes a long long way, too much and the moisturising agents can build up. I leave my face damp to spread it a bit thinner, otherwise some skin types can see it leave a film of some kind on the face.

I also keep my face damp(from witch hazel) before I apply Musgo AS. If I don't it leaves my face a little sticky.

The scent lasts on me for around an hour and it does have a strong patchouli, but I find it very nice and also consider it a must have for my Shave Den

The newer formulation Musgo (the one that is not in the cork box with cork label) has a rep of going on a bit tacky if you use too much. A few hints:

* Wet your face with a bit of water before application.
* Try to use a bit less product

Glad to read in advance that the splash smells like patchouli as I can now scratch it off my list to try.

Does the cream smell like patchouli as well?
