Mulhe or Red Merkur Barber Pole HD

Gents, my RAD is kicking up again. I know I don't need another razor, and there are certainly better, more prudent uses for my funds.

Still, I am lusting after some razors.

OR

I do have a thick fast growing beard. Which of the two will mow down the stubble better? I have in my rotation a Barber Pole Slant, Barber Pole Open Comb, and a Futur @ 6.5.

Your comments and advice are appreciated.

I think you may have fallen into the same problem as me. I use a 39C and a Progress XL modified on 12. Every other razor weight, aggression, or both is not enough.

The Mühle will shave much like the open comb you have; the head is the same but it is much lighter and will be balanced differently. For me the only razor of all your razors listed I really want. But YMMV.

The barberpole HD will be just a little less aggressive than your slant version so I don't really see what it would add to your collection unless you are actually looking for a milder razor.

When you like über-aggressive, a razor like the old Mühle R89 or R41 (Fatip) would be more the thing for you I guess.
