Muhle Silvertip Synthetic Reknot

I've got this great little handle I got from a free brush deal with a cologne purchase at Dillards. Its a heavy duty, all metal Dolce and Gabbana shaving brush but the knot was so badly done I pulled it out with the intention of adding a new knot. I've been wanting to try synthetic and I know Muhle makes a replacement silvertip fibre knot. Has anyone tried this yet and if so, how were the results?
