Go Scotty!!!May be sac religious but my 23mm may be my favorite brush.....and I have 30 brushes!
How does how the performance compare between the 19, 21 and 23?
The Kent synth is quite interesting. The fibers are soft (both wet and dry) and the backbone is substantial. It is also very dense. I tested it with MWF and several creams. It worked very well with painting motions, but did not splay easily. The fivers are comparable to Mühle.s V1 brushes (previous generation).Anyone also got the Kent Infinity Silvertex? I'd love to know how they compare.
I have a 21mm Muhle and love it. It awesome and I really like how quickly it dries. As far as the Kent Silvertex goes, I haven't tried one but I've seen a couple for sale on here and other forums. Not sure if that implies anything or not.
I had one and I traded it because I wanted a larger brush. It's a very nice brush at a great price point. The people that I've seen selling it either want a bigger brush or just didn't hit it off with synthetic brushes. It's not a comment on the quality of the Kent brush.

The Kent is a good brush for a very good price. But compared to these Mühles it's only a second winner. I have the Mühles in 21 and 25mm and I'm sure, that I will treat me a 23mm, too (but definitely not a 19mm, the 21mm is the smallest synthetic I like to have). So the Kent had to go very quickly.
The Mühles feel much more than a badger brush, and I mean a good badger with soft tips and backbone. The Kent is soft in the tips and has backbone, but does not feel like a badger. It's not splaying and face lathering in circles is not as nice as with the Mühles. If you are just doing painting strokes it's ok.
