Now I'll be the first to admit I'm no brush expert. My current "fleet" is: Omega 21047 ( mixed bristle ), Vintage Butterscotch Kent KS7 reknotted with a TGN 20mm Fine ( 48mm Loft ) and a vintage Butterscotch Vulfix Boar 20mm.

The only other brushs I've owned is a Virtual Village Silvertip and a Men-u Pure Bristle.

The handle looks very nice and combined with the aluminium surround looks very classy.

The Muhle has been soaked ( shampoo/conditioner ), rinsed, lathered ( TBS Maca Root ) , soaked , rinsed, lathered , rinsed.

So my first thoughts, it's big compared to my other brushes, the resin handle is quite heavy and large ( again in comparison ).

I have a feeling this would be a fantastic cream brush, but I'm pretty much solely a soap user . That being said, I'd used the Virtual Village a few times with soap and it was fine and this brush has a fair bit more backbone than that one.

I'm a face latherer and I've only got a small shave area, so I've preferred smaller brushes..

This is going to be interesting.......

Thanks again B&B and Kinetic Blue

Followup tomorrow...

Well decided to lather up "The Fat" today.

Suprisingly enough given the size of this brush it really wasn't an issue. ( Except the fact that the bloom is almost bigger than the puck :001_tongu )

Nice lush, cushiony lather.

It's a bit scritchier than my TGN finest knot but this may change as it wears in.

While it worked fine I might adjust the brushes o-rings just to take the bloom down a bit. :001_tongu

So decided to change to O-Rings:

Interesting, you'll have to let us know how it performs after.
