MUHLE brush - glue comes out from the handle?

Hello Gents

I've been using Muhle brush for about three weeks, so it's pretty new. Few days ago I noticed there is some glue (epoxide?) on the base of the knot where knot meets handle. The bristles in these places are stiff and there is a glue between them. Moreover, it has an influence on the shape of the whole loft. Brush blooms more in places where is no glue, and less where it is. It isn't big difference, but I wonder if this causes uneven splay of the bristles when pushing on the face. This class of brush shouldn't have any defects so I would like to contact to vendor and ask for send me a new brush. Sorry for my english and thanks for all respones!

No, it doesn't and it's as hard as dry glue. Moreover, I cleaned it once in vinegar solution and didn't come off

Looking at it again, it appears that the knot is coming out, not the glue

Can you push it back in at all?

Hmm I didn't think in this way. To me, a glue doesn't allow the bristles to bloom completely as it does in places where a clean knot is. This makes the bristles to go more upward and I think increases backbone in these glued places and uneven splaying.

Thank you gents for quick response. I will contact the vendor.
