Mühle Sandalwood Soap

Last night i had my 1st DE shave using the Mühle Sandalwood soap. In the past when i was just doing a 1 pass with the fusion, and face lathering, this seemed to be good, but i had issues making lather last night in a mug.

I was wondering whether others have had the same problem? Being a Newbie, i am well aware that this was probably due to me not using enough soap from the puck/too much water etc. However, i thought i would ask and see if any other users have experience with this one?

(It does smell great though )

the Muhle/EJ soaps work fine. You need to load more soap on your brush. Load way more than you think you need. Read the soap tutorials for help.

Excellent soap just wish it was bit larger refill. One of the nicest wood bowls I've seen though.

Though also a noob I've found that the EJ/Muhle soaps need a little more "whipping" to get a good lather. I've found quick wrist action, like using a whisk, works best.
