Tonight for MdC Monday Original is back with the Rocca R94 crew on deck duty to make this a great shave. The brush is definitely breaking in and loosening up and is going to be a great partner for the Rocca razor. I loaded the Rocca with a Minora Platinum I had lying around trying to reduce the number of stray blades I have.
The Rocca/Minora combo is great, it feels comfortable and gives a close shave with no irritation finally leaving me with a BBS.

Tonight for Muhle/MdC Monday I lathered MdC Original with the Rocca R94 STF and as usual MdC provided me with an excellent lather. The brush is still improving and after 65 shaves the soap is barely 5mm below the top of the jar. I originally predicted that it might last me until about 2028, but at this rate I still may not be finished by then.
As with last night the shave with the Minora/R41 was excellent, although only very close to a BBS. There was however a bit of a sting when I applied the Proraso Green.

A late evening shave with these wonderful components. The Muhle blade is getting a little worn but the MdC slickness prevailed. I rate it a 9.8 shave. The Rocca 95 razor hits the sweet-spot for closeness and comfort.

Tonight the MWF Original was lathered with the Kosmo as usual producing the same excellent results as always. The Silver Star blade started its sixth use in the R41 and I was hoping for a better finish than last night. This blade was giving up on me last night and unfortunately the shave tonight wasn't any better. It was a bit rough and gave me a worse finish than last night so it is now occupying the blade bank I will have to pick a new blade for tomorrow so I will have a look and see which ones I haven't tried yet.

Most days we go outside and sketch in nature. We both use fountain pens.
"Rose" Monday is great because it is my only MdC soap. The result was a DFS+++.

Tonight for Muhle/MdC Monday i lathered up the Original with the Rocca R94 STF. I just love this Rocca set and it always makes a shave feel special when I use it, it could be my forever brush and razor. Despite thinking the Bolzano blade was nearing its end this shave produced a near BBS finish which was quite a surprise. The last few blades I have tried have only lasted around a week so it will be good if this one lasts a little longer.

A perfect shave, no irritation, no weepers, no stinging, nothing, just smooth skin. These "basic" shaves make me wonder why I have a cabinet full of gear
