Unfortunately I don’t have any and I didn’t try and make it. I have purchased most of the hardware, but haven’t bought ingredients yet. I got sidetracked with straights and honing.

Speaking of JetPilot, what happened to him. Last I read he was MIA.

Yeah, while making your own would save some money, and you would have total control over the scent, plenty of good soaps are available, and I know I would have a hard time making complex scents.

Yeah, while making your own would save some money, and you would have total control over the scent, plenty of good soaps are available, and I know I would have a hard time making complex scents.

I agree about the soaps and think it would be cool to make some. I don’t have a nose for scents. And the other prob I have is that I haven’t found a good DIY AS that you could just add a matching scent to.

Witch Hazel, Vodka if desired(will help dissolving some additives and gives the bite some like), glycerin and/or aloe, EOs to scent.

Like 1 cup of witch hazel/alcohol to 1/2 oz. or less of additives.

Was reaching for the L'Occitane Cade, and noticed the VDH sitting there unloved. It always produces an easy lather and great scent that I think is underappreciated due to its low cost.

No. VDH deluxe is the glycerin soap that VDH makes. I never have tried it. Mama Bear's Dragon Blood and Dublin Tweed were two that I had, but I think I PIFed them. Don't actually have a glycerin soap at the moment it seems.

Had an ingrown after yesterday's shave. Broke the hair free and shaved as normal. Starting to get sub-par shaves on easy areas, so time to change blades. Will break out my Lady Eversharp tomorrow with an unknown number of shaves on it's blade.

Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Bon Vivant (love this!, too bad it is unobtanium)
Passes: XTG/ATG
Result: DFS - lower neck blocks the extra point

Ingrown area all but healed. Couple of nicks, but hadn't used this razor since shortly after getting it. Handle is too long to be comfortable to me. It hits my chest when I'm doing my lower throat so I have to do XTGx2 there instead of XTG/ATG

If I didn't have another injector, I might, but the I1 does fine by me. I'll PIF the Lady Eversharp after the blade is spent. I thought I had PIF'ed it actually. Found it while I was looking for some glycerin soaps that I did PIF.

Did a Gillette slide on my lower throat, holding handle at a diagonal, to reduce overall length to achieve an ATG pass.
