Of my synthetics the EVO has the best backbone and flings lather the least, but it will still throw some lather if you go as fast as a badger/bore. But it doesn't take too long to just slow your roll a bit, especially if you're using synthetic every day.
I only use my synthetic as a travel brush, which requires me to remember to use a different technique (and memory hasn't been my forte for about 30 years now).
