Mountain Country Soap?

Anyone tried any of the Mountain Country Soap products? They apparently only make three scents, but they all sound rather nice. Limelight Bay, which they describe as "a clean refreshing scent with lime essential oil and bay rum," sounds particularly interesting. The reviews on Amazon are mixed, and I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with them.

First ingredient is olive oil.

In general any soap with a high concentration of olive oil will be totally useless for shaving, as it will only be able to create a very airy lather, that quickly disappears.

I personally would avoid this soap at all costs. Very likely it will be nothing more than an expensive bath soap.

By the way, the positive reviews are very likely from people who have never used another shaving soap, or have never used a shaving soap that lathers properly. In other words they are clueless as to what the properties of a shaving soap should be.

I would take the negative review as being the most accurate portrayal of how this product actually performs:

"Not a shaving soap
This may work great as a hand or face soap, but is certainly not suitable as a shaving soap. The lather of the soap lasts perhaps 20 seconds before withering into a disappointing invisibility. Also, there is no protection, lubrication or moisturizing apparent in this shaving experience. Not crazy about the fragrances, but I know that is subjective."

Thanks. Had I looked at the ingredients, I would have picked up on that. However, since I wasn't actually planning on buying any immediately, I didn't go that far. Now that I have, I will indeed be avoiding it. With regards to the reviews, I was already a little skeptical that there were only 5. I put a little stock into the negative review quoted, but I thought I'd see if anyone on here had anything to say about it.
