Motion in the direction of the grain need not be a with the grain cut!

Say the growth on the cheeks is vertically down. Moving the straight vertically down does not necessarily constitute a with the grain cut! The razor needs to be parallel to the ground (rather than with the length inclined to the ground) as it is moved vertically down for the motion to be a with the grain cut.
