Most impressive lather out of the box

IME: great lather in about 20 seconds without having to pay attention to what you're doing.

This. The cream explodes into lather in seconds. I love my Sandalwood and Bergamot.

Lately, I am a huge Southern Witchcrafts soap fan. Vegan, but the lather is amazing.

Proraso....completely idiot proof, I am a living example.
First time I tried shaving with a DE razor, a friend sent me a “bomb” to get me going with some Proraso.
Bought an Amazon cheapo Yaqi brush with some Proraso and an old pet food bowl, with no clue of soap proportions or how much water, how wet the brush should be I whipped up a bowl that would be on par with Herb Alperts Whipped Cream & Other Delights album cover.
And just like that, I was a convert.
A glorious day indeed...

Speick, Tabac, Razorock Irish Country side, Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore all work well with nice lather qualities.

PAA CK-6 base provides the lather of champions.

Palmolive, Lea and Tabac all work well for me, but my best performers are the tallow-based soaps from Shannon's Soaps and Stirling. I really like ToBS, especially the St James, but the cheap US source has dried up & what I've seen on line is limited variety.
