More shave cream - why?

Except for some of my usual blades, I hadn't bought any shave gear for 6 months. Then late last week I started reading through the SC forum. The result was that UPS just dropped off a TOBS Mr Taylor, CF Lime cream and CF lime balm, CF Lavender cream and lavender balm, Vintage Blades Sandalwood cream, and samples of CF Cedarwood and VB Herbal Citrus creams (thanks Erin at VB). Thanks to you enablers I just doubled the amount of creams that I had been perfectly content with for the past 6 months. And all I can say is: Mmmmm! New smells!

I love TOBS Mr. Taylor. The only cream I currently have among several soaps. The wife hates it but I use it any way. I may or may not go into the bathroom just to smell it. :001_rolle

I do that as well, I love the smell.

I can't stop buying things either. I bought a Red Tip last week and a Dirty Bird scuttle and said I wasn't going to buy anything else for a while. Last night I sent a PM on some cream and AS on the B/S/T. I didn't even make it a week.

One of the great things about B&B is you can buy things and try them out. If it doesn't agree with you...then you can sell it and get some of your money back. That is a lot better than buying it and then have it lay around for years.:thumbup1:

I can see why you guys like Mr Taylor. I just shaved with it. Although the scent seems very light in the tub, it really explodes when you use it. And 30 minutes later, despite the WH and Nivea balm, I can still smell it. Can't describe the scent, but it's addicting. And the Mr Taylor lather was the best of the TOBS I've tried so far.
