Moon Mission Techmatic Tribute!

The Techmatic was my first razor. Then Trac II, Atra, Mach 3 etc....
Many neighbors were aerospace engineers and employees for Martin Marietta and all played roles in our space program. We had neighborhood parties for the launches 🚀
I have fond memories of them and their contributions to our country. Not too nostalgic about the Techmatic.
A postwar Tech is a much better shave.

Why do I imagine them preferring clear, colorless alcohols at those parties?

These were family events.
There was alcohol for the adults that wanted it and pop for us kids.
There was a lot of “shop talk” about the equipment and lessons for the kids about how it worked. The atmosphere was about the excitement of the launch and pride in the joint accomplishments.

I agree.
Thanks for your posts.
I enjoy reading them.

Many thanks, and if you visit the Huntsville Space & Rocket Center - as I have - hope you have lunch at Ol' Heidelberg. Fantastic German food, my favorite. (Though many also prefer Hildegard's).

There are only three Saturn V rockets; I just returned from a pilgrimage to the one at Kennedy Space Center. The one at Huntsville is equally good, and they have a standing mock-up, too. (The third one is in Houston).
