Just curious if anyone is familiar with this model of DE blade sharpener - it is supposed to use a very strong magnet to re-align the microscopic teeth of the blades itself. I am familiar with the Kriss Kross model, the twinplex (both of which use leather strops to physically re-align the blade teeth similar to a leather strop on a straight razor)
Picked this one up on ebay as I've never seen it - and a google search came up with very limited information (an ad in Popular Mechanics) which says it can prolong the life of a single blade up to 6 months -not that I'm using DEs much these days, or put much stock in it's ability to work it's magic, but I thought it was at least an interesting piece of shaving memorabilia, and if it works - well even better! All I know is the magnet still works, and it's from the 1930s.
fortunately it came with box and instructions....
any thoughts, info appreciated!
