What's new

Monday-bad news:-(

Well, after long time of no major cuts I cut myself today pretty bad. Scar long for 3 inches starting lip toward middle of cheek, not much skin was cut off, so I hope it will not look so bad. Why this happen? Well, I was surprised very much too but after longer inspection of leather on the razor I found a long brush hair hidden on the blade. I guess that is the reason, blade slide over thick hair and speed up without control and to aggressively hit skin and cut it. It was so fast that I even can`t remember. I just saw blood on my face and I got pretty upset from this point on. :thumbdown:confused1:crying:

This is the real school of hard knocks. You'll survive, I've had a couple of beauties since starting but nothing that'll leave a real scar, I still have a faint line on my cheek from my second or third shave that's about 1 1/2 inches long but it's only noticeable to me as I know it's there.
I suggest growing a beard till it heals, nothing more annoying than reopening a cut - more chance of scarring and takes longer to heal.

Phone photos are not the best, but here it is. I was also very happy that some of the damage is already gone, however worst is still present. How long I have to wait until this cut heal?

It's just a flesh wound.

No should be gone by the end of the week. Monday morning you'll be up and running again. It'll leave a faint line on your skin for the next few months or years but it'll eventually go. You'll look like a hard man from now on and it's a talking point - easiest way for you to bore people with talk of shaving with straights.

That's nothin' man... you will be fine. :)

It will be gone in like 2 days.

Your cut should not scar up. When shaving just make sure that you go over it only at a 90 degree angle so you don't open it up. A little bit if anti-bacterial applied along the cut will do wonders.

Take Care,

It's a man inch-lol.

I think Proximus works in decimal. He eats Royal Cheeses (like me) and not Quarter Pounders.
You guys are living in the stone age!

2.5 cm = +/- 1 inch so I guess he meant 3 cm

Now he's gonna say he comes from NYC and I'll look a dumb ***.
