where did all of americas blade making machinery go ? was it sold to other countries? great reading material,a nice find...I never knew the production included a spraying of disinfectant on the blades...

Most of the American and British equipment went to countries such as Turkey. Pakistan, Egypt, India, etc. Many of the blades we use today are more than likely are still made on this relocated equipment. I know some of the Wilkinson tools went to Egypt to manufacture Lord Blades. Some more may have gone to India.
