So Far only Zote gave me good results. If I was stranded somewhere and Zote were in the vicinity, I would definitely shave with it. It makes very good lather and slick, but the laundry smell is too much. As for the other soaps, meh... just a waste of time and money.

Congrats with finding the winner but I will never give up on the experimentation. That's half the excitement and fun of traditional wet shaving.
He's only giving up on experimenting with laundry soap.
Looks like he will still try different shaving soaps, but I agree with you.
It is fun to try new SHAVING products.
