Minoxidil

I do not have male-pattern baldness but recently had a pilar cyst removed from the back of my skull. The dermatologist said the hair follicles that fell out as a result of the cyst formation (bald spot about 1 inch in diameter) may grow back and suggested I use minoxidil to stimulate regrowth.

The problem is in applying 1 full mL as directed to the area. Even rubbing it in after every few drops leaves liquid dripping down my scalp. Do any of you who have used this have suggestions for successful application of this product?

A large band-aid with gauze soaked in minoxidil. A faded haircut would help the band-aid adhere better.

I actually prefer the Minoxidil foam. Much easier for me to apply directly to my trouble area. Like you said the liquid just doesn't cooperate.
